George Njenga Chairman
Dr. George N. Njenga is the Chairman of Image Registrars Limited and the Executive Dean of Strathmore University Business School (SBS) and a seasoned leadership and Governance Senior Lecturer for over 20 years.
He specializes in strategy, governance and leadership. He has a PhD (hons.) in Political Philosophy from the University of Navarra. He holds a Master’s in Governance and Culture of Institutions (MGCI) from the same University, a Master’s in Business Administration from the United States International University (USIU) and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya.
He spearheaded the establishment of the Strathmore Institute of Healthcare Management and the Strathmore Institute of Public Policy and Governance at Strathmore University. He was also in the team that set up a successful School of Finance and Banking in Kigali, Rwanda. He worked as a senior auditor at Ernst and Young, Kenya, a global leader in assurance, tax, transactions and advisory services. He is an Executive Board member of the Global Business Schools Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the management, entrepreneurial, and leadership talent for the developing world, and a seasoned Consultant.

Mr. Mumtazali Noormohamed Omar Director.
Omar initially worked with Kenya Directorate of Civil Aviation as an Air Traffic Controller from 1969 to 1980.He joined RyceEast Africa as Service Manager in 1980. He was appointed to the board as a Director from June 1997 to April 2001.He joined Sameer Group in February 2000 as Administration/Property Manager. Mr. Mumtazali N.Omar is a Director of Yana Investments Limited, Yana Tyres Limited and Yana Trading Limited.He is also a Director of Sinbad Holdings Limited, Northbridge Management Limited and Yansam Motors (Tanzania) Limited.He was a Director of Sasini Tea & Coffee PLC Limited from 1989 to 2007. Mr. Omar has considerable experience in management and administration.
Sahil S.R. Shah Director
Mr. Sahil S.R. Shah is an experienced strategy professional working across commercial advisory, investment management, project delivery, macroeconomic analysis, public policy and operations. He currently runs an independent strategy consulting practice that works with leading organisations in development finance, impact investing, venture capital, financial services and financial technology across East Africa. Through his work, he has consulted and executed projects across the region for organizations such as the IFC, Mara, World Bank, Tony Blair Institute, Merck KGaA, German Development Aid, African Development Bank, KEPSA, KAM, Irish Aid, UNDP, Credit Suisse, DFID, Oxford Policy Management, Msingi Foundation, Dawa Group, Central Bank of Kenya, Council of Governors Kenya, Senate of Kenya, Ministry of Finance (Kenya, Rwanda, Puntland State - Somalia), among many others.
He holds a BA in History (with First Class Honours) from the University of Bristol, a Master’s in Public Policy & Management (with Distinction) from Strathmore University Business School and is a British Council Future Leader Fellow of the University of Cambridge. He further sits on the Board of Boma PanAfrican, the investment holding company of the Kenya Red Cross Society and the Board of UTI Industrial Park, a light industrial real estate project based in Thika, Kenya.
Tom Mbugua Director
Mr. Tom Mbugua is an experienced professional adept at strategic planning, team management, and fostering client relationships to drive organizational success. Mr. Mbugua was an Executive director at Image Registrars in charge of Finance until year 2020 where he demonstrated expertise in financial management, business development, risk management and operational excellence. He was committed to driving innovation and achieving sustainable growth through effective leadership and collaborations. As part of the Executive committee of IRL, he ensured overall strategic direction, growth, and profitability of the firm, ensuring alignment with long- term goals and market trends.
He currently runs an audit firm and has vast knowledge in financial reporting, theory and practice of taxation, auditing and management gained from over 17 years of service. He has numerous companies/organizations including but not limited to the Government of Kenya, retailing and manufacturing companies; financial institutions; hotels, airlines, caterers; surveyors; property valuers and estate agents and donor funded organizations and projects both in Kenya, Somalia and in Somaliland. He also has a wide experience in the development of accounting systems and internal controls.
He holds a BA degree in Economics and Sociology and a Master’s in Business Administration in Operations Management from the University of Nairobi. Mr. Mbugua is a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and Institute of Certified Secretaries of Kenya (ICSK).
Victoria Cherotich Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Cherotich holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) Degree and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) both from the University of Nairobi. She is a Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Certified Sustainability Professional as well as a Certified Secretary, an Accredited Governance Auditor and Certified Public Accountant. Victoria has attended various professional management and corporate governance capacity building courses. She is a member of the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and Women on Boards Network.
She is a seasoned professional with over fifteen years’ experience in Company Secretarial Services, Securities Registration, Financial Audits, Customer Experience Digital Transformation, Governance Advisory Services, and Project Management. Victoria has recently ventured into the field of tainability/ESG and supports the firm in their journey towards ensuring it achieves the SDGs it has aligned itself with.
Victoria has been instrumental in the management of Image Registrars’ operations and a key contributor to the growth of the firm especially in its expansion to neighboring EAC countries. In her previous role as the Operations Director, she spearheaded the transformation of the governance and operations of the firm to not only survive, but also to thrive despite the negative effects of the Covid pandemic. She also serves as the Company Secretary on various boards of companies in diverse sectors.
As part of her role, Victoria has been involved in providing efficient and high-quality Corporate Secretarial Support for Board and Shareholder Meetings, facilitating communication between the Board and Management and other key stakeholders. She is also key in assisting boards to establish good corporate governance structures and develop policies and charters to support these structures and offering advisory services in relation to the compliance of companies with the Companies Act and other relevant regulations within their industry as well as Best Practice. She has also played key roles in the Capital Markets Sector, having participated in some of the largest transactions for various listed entities in the Country.
In her role as a leader, and setting the pace in breaking the glass ceiling by being the first female Director at the firm, Victoria has taken it upon herself to mentor her colleagues, especially young enterprising women and supporting them in their personal growth. She is passionate about ensuring those around her achieve their full potential.
Victoria was appointed the Chief Executive Officer effective 1st April 2023.
John Bett Assistant Director ICT
Mr. John Bett is the Assistant Director-ICT at IRL and is instrumental in the management of Image Registrars’ ICT Operations. Mr. Bett is a graduate of Moi University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer science and Mathematics and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Nairobi. He is also a certified Systems Auditor and Oracle Certified Associate with certification from ISACA and Oracle respectively. Mr. Bett has more than 11 years of experience in information and digital technology. He is a seasoned and strategic IT Professional whose main area of experience is in Governance & Management of IT, Information Systems Operations & Business Resilience, and IT Risk; with various IT technical skills acquired from handling multiple technology programs.
In addition, he champions service delivery excellence and improvement whilst mitigating risk and ensuring compliance and business continuity, by maintaining appropriate security controls, ensuring that appropriate technical support is provided at all times, and engaging relevant support partners.
Janet Kinyanjui Head Of Securities Registration
Ms. Janet Kinyanjui is the Head of Securities Registration at Image Registrars Ltd, and oversees the day-to-day operations, providing leadership and direction to the Securities Registry Team, overseeing completion of the initiated projects and ensuring that timelines on various processes are met for all our clients. Ms. Kinyanjui is a professional with over 15 years of progressive and diverse experience in the field of shares registry which has enabled her to gain expertise in change management, business process improvement, culture change and strategy implementation. She is passionate about building the capacity of people, building strong teams and ensuring efficiency and success of the organization in all its operations. Ms. Kinyanjui has a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Leadership from The Management University of Africa and a higher diploma in Business Management from The Kenya Institute of Management, and has attended various professional and capacity building courses and training in the region.
Diana Bundu Deputy Head Of Securities Registration

Patricia Njeru Legal and Secretarial Services Officer
Patricia is the Legal and Secretarial Services Officer at Image Registrars Limited. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa as well as a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She is also an active member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK).
Patricia has diverse experience in commercial transactions, company law, data protection law, corporate law, conveyancing law, tax law, intellectual property law, litigation, corporate governance, company secretarial & shares registrar services. She plays a critical role in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance at Image Registrars Limited.
Sylvia Mwikali Manager Secretarial services
Sylvia is currently the Secretarial Services Manager at Image Registrars Limited, a role she has held since 2018.
Sylvia holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Option) First Class Honors from KCA University. She is also a Certified Accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya and currently finalizing her Certified Secretary studies.
She joined Image Registrars in 2015, taking on the role of Customer Service and Senior Share Registrar. She is a seasoned professional in Accounting & Finance Management Professional skilled with 5+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, budgeting, financial transactions, taxation & statutory deductions having previously worked at Flora Ola Ltd as the Chief Accountant and MGI Adams and Associates as a Senior Auditor.
She has vast domain expertise and knowledge in Company Secretarial, Board Management and Corporate Governance matters having been in the field for over 5 years. She has also played key roles in supporting most of the listed Companies in Kenya to comply with their respective regulators.

Beatrice Menin Finance Manager
CPA Beatrice Menin is a finance expert with over 15 years of progressive and diverse experience in the field of accounting and taxation. She joined the firm in the year 2007.
Ms. Menin manages the day-to-day accounting operations of the firm, ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations and standards, as well as advising on tax matters touching on our operations. She has been instrumental in the automation of our accounting systems as well as the establishment of operational policies and processes.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance Option) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and is CPA (K) and is currently pursuing a Masters in Tax and Customs Administration at the Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA). She has also undertaken various courses on finance and taxation and is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
Jacqueline Rotich Head of Administration and Human Resources
Ms. Jacqueline Rotich is the Administrator and Human Resources at IRL and is instrumental in the management of Image Registrars Administration and Human Resources.
Ms. Rotich is a graduate of Moi University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and is currently pursuing a Certification as a Human Resource Professional (CHRP) at the Institute of Human Resource Management. She is also a certified Public Accountant (CPA K) and Certified Public Secretary (CPS K).
Ms. Rotich has more than 10 years of experience in Financial reporting, administration and Human resources. She has an extensive background in HR generalist affairs, including recruitment and retention, staff training and development, mediation, conflict resolution, benefits and compensation, HR records management, HR policies development and compliance.
Emmanuel Wabwire Shares Registrar
Am a hardworking, enthusiastic and dedicated person. I hold a bachelor’s degree of science in statistics from Kyambogo University and have proficiencies in data analytics using power BI, R, and python. I have also acquired skills in Oracle database management and programming using python from Makerere University and in my career so far I have attained communication skills, team working and customer service skills. AbdulHaleem Kiswili Mohamed
Mr. Mohamed is an Economist and Strategy Expert and works closely with the CEO informulating strategic direction for the business and focusing on developing IR’s position as an industry leader in driving innovation in products and services. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mohamed worked as an external audit assistant from 1995 to 1999, with the main task of assisting the auditor to carry out audit of various firms both in the public and private sector, where he gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in corporate management. He later joined an internet start-up in the department of research and data collection where he helped developed a regional database of organisations in various sectors of the economies. Mr. Mohamed joined IR in the year 2001, and played a key role in the Mumias Sugar Company Initial Public Offer which attracted approximately 140,000 investors. He also managed various public offers for listed and unlisted public companies, and was part of the teams that offered financial advisory services to clients, especially on capital raising, planning and management of public offers, including team set –up, and putting in place processes, procedures and controls, project planning and budgeting, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of progress/success of the projects.
Over the years, he has played key roles in the growth of the firm and the capital markets sector in Kenya through establishment of efficient processes and development of innovative systems that support developments in the capital markets. He has extensive experience in the Shares registration processes for various companies, and has participated in most of the major capital markets projects that have taken place in the East African Region. He has also provided advisory services in corporate governance and related services in both the public and private sectors.Mr. Mohamed has a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Statistics) and an Executive MBA in Strategic Management.
